Comments on: For My Friends- The RN’S! http://www.anymondaymorning.com/?p=76 By Vicki Lee: ----- a look at life's more humorous side and the lessons it has for all of us Sun, 03 Feb 2013 18:21:25 +0000 hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=4.3.33 By: Rebecca Thomason http://www.anymondaymorning.com/?p=76#comment-43 Mon, 07 May 2012 12:28:20 +0000 http://www.anymondaymorning.com/?p=76#comment-43 I might as well reply to my own comment, since there are no rules & you did give me this option. I forgot to add my sister was studying to be a nutritionist while in her career at SF State. I know each professional seems most comfortable in conversing with someone in the same, as they are the only ones who understands what is being talked about, yes another “duh” moment. Ok, since its 5:26 on this Monday morning, I have to continue my pursuit of procrastination prior to getting ready for work!

She worked as a waitress at a resort in Oregon, met a bartender, they married, settled down…Eda got her LPN license & Wayne got his Real Estate License. Later Eda got her RN License…much later they moved to Idaho. Eda did hospice work for 4 years in Oregon & later in Idaho worked in a hospital as a charge nurse. Eda liked caring for the patients, but didn’t like the pettiness between the co-workers that she had to supervise & referee. Eda now works in a surgery center & is very happy & Wayne owns his own Real Estate Office. Listening to Eda’s stories are just as you said, her best friend in Oregon was another nurse & now 20 years later, they are still friends….Eda went to work in the surgery center to get back to nursing & to let someone supervise. I can tell that she & her co-workers have each others back & are truly a team. This is what we all want in the health care professionals. Thank you for your story. I truly enjoyed it!
